Flower Power Wall Decals…Dress Up Your Walls For Summer!

Spring is here…celebrate with our new Flower Power wall decals in two gorgeous colors!

We are “growing” our Movable Mural wall decal line with the addition of this new flower design. It’s time to splash some color and shed those winter blues. Our movable murals are removable and reusable and are a beautiful addition to a room no matter what your age.

Flower Power Blue is blue, purple, turquoise and brown. Flower Power Pink is pinks, fuschia and orange. These flower decals can be spaced however you would like on your wall or as shown with our leaf and stem design to grow along your wall.  Flowers measure form 8 1/2 “-14″ with a total of 6 flowers which can cover a 6-8′  wall. What a beautiful way to celebrate spring!

New Movable Mural Wall Decals Coming Soon!

We have some new Movable Murals coming out at Wall Dressed Up in about a week . Thought we would post a few preview pictures. We’ll post more in the coming week. Remember, our Movable Murals are on a fabulous matte fabric-like material that is repositionable, reusable and still really sticks to your wall!! The fabric-like qualities allow the murals to”breathe” so you won’t get bubbles like you do with vinyl. We really searched high and low for a material that wouldn’t damage walls when you remove the murals and doesn’t look like a “sticker”! We think you will LOVE the quality of these wall decals.

Movable Mural Patterned Dot Decals!

17 dots! Beautiful teal, aqua, green and brown in patterns and solids! Simply peel and stick! These decals are removable and reusable! The dots are easy to put up and won’t damage walls! Fun and colorful design detail to add to your walls!

These dot decals are available now on our site along with a pink and green version! They are really fun to put up and you simply can’t make a mistake designing with dots! Hey, even if you do…just peel it off and move it. We know there are a lot of junky decals on the market but these will be so much better than you expect. We have ordered from ALL the competition and we are always astounded that many decals on websites are deceptive. They are either printed on a clear plastic that has a border around the entire design, or sometimes they are very cheap (made in China). Our murals are made in the USA and printed on a lovely fabric like material that is matte and breathes.

What does that mean to you? NO BUBBLES. Even some pretty nice solid vinyl has bubble issues. This material lets any air out and thus, no bubbles. Also, it is matte and repositionable. If by accident the back sticks to another part…you can get them apart. In tests we have crumpled a design and put it on the wall again…no wrinkles even!

Paisley is one of our most requested designs and this will be our first design printed on our new Movable Mural material. This product is infinitely re-positionable, won’t tear or leave any residue. It is SO EASY to just place on your wall, and if you don’t like where you put it, just move it! It is thin, matte and made of a beautiful fabric like material, not a shiny vinyl! StartupNation is a great site by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs and is a huge source of information for startup businesses. Below is a summary of our entry. We entered in 2 categories-Boomers Back in Business, and Most Innovative!

Bird in Wall and Breakaway Brick Mural Transfer by Wall Dressed Up

Wall Dressed Up manufactures and sells mural transfers that you simply rub onto your wall!

We started Wall Dressed Up last fall after several years of research to find just the right mural transfer product for our business. We are two artists/moms coming back into the business world with a mural product that easily rubs onto your wall, almost like a tattoo!

These transfer murals simply becomes part of your wall, just like a thin coat of paint. This is not a sticker! Every original brush stroke and shadow is reproduced in high resolution detail and shadows make the artwork pop! All you need to do is rub it on the wall! You can now beautifully decorate flat or textured walls, floors, ceilings, furniture, mirrors and more without even a single drop of paint!

We are thrilled to be starting this business and taking advantage of new technology to promote and sell our affordable murals. We feel this is a great and inexpensive way to add mural artwork to as many walls as possible. We have our website, blog and are also selling our murals on Amazon. We have a few boutique stores who carry our murals and are busy building the business.

We would like to be considered for the startupnation Home-Based 100 Competition as we have gone from a kernel of an idea to the start of a thriving online business. We opened less than a year ago, in October of 2007. We are 2 artist/moms, living in different states, who searched for 2 years for this thin-as-paint transfer printing. The printing technology itself is amazing.

It was a childhood memory of a rub down transfer coloring book that sparked our first thought of combining printed transfers with our mural art.

We learned how to build a website ourselves, get our product manufactured, and came up with the start up funds to open and market our business. We used many resources and ideas here on the startupnation website (it’s a great source of ideas and information) as we progressed along the many steps of starting a business.
